Open a dress you like
On any dress page, press Virtual Try-On under “Find a store”. Every photo of the dress is a look you can try, in each of its colors.

Only to count your free try-ons. We don't post anything or send you emails.
Add your photo and check your measurements
We check the photo at once and estimate your height, bust, waist and hips from it. Correct any number, and your recommended Jovani size updates.

Taking a good photo
For the best preview
- Stand and face the camera, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Show yourself from head to feet. At least down to the hips works too; we then estimate the rest.
- Wear fitted clothes, such as a T-shirt and jeans, so your shape is clear.
- Use daylight or a bright room, and a plain background if you can.
- A mirror selfie is fine. If the phone covers your face, the preview keeps it covered.
Photos we can't use
- Only your head and shoulders.
- More than one person (crop the others out).
- Sitting or lying down.
- Swimwear or underwear.
- Too dark or blurry.
- A photo of a screen, a poster or a magazine.
If a photo can't be used, we tell you why, and it doesn't count towards your try-ons.
Your Jovani size
From your photo we estimate your height, bust, waist and hips, and show them in inches or centimeters. Your recommended size comes from the Jovani size chart, the same one on every dress page, and changes as soon as you correct a number. If your measurements fall between sizes, we tell you where a boutique may take the dress in.
A photo has no scale, so these estimates are only a starting point. For your real size, measure yourself with a soft tape (bust at the fullest part, waist at the narrowest, hips 8 inches below the waist) and confirm the fit at a Jovani boutique.
Your photo and your privacy
- Your photo isn't kept. It is sent to OpenAI only to make your preview. Jovani doesn't store your photo or the preview; save the image if you want to keep it.
- Google sign-in only counts your try-ons. We keep a count per day, not your name, email or photos.
- For ages 16 and over. You confirm the photo is of you and that you're 16 or older.

Good to know
- It's a preview, not a fitting
- The image is made by AI. Colors, fabric, fit and details are close but approximate. Try the dress on at a boutique before you buy.
- Free try-ons
- 5 a day and 20 a month per Google account. A photo we can't use, or a preview that fails, doesn't count.
- Some styles may be declined
- The image service sometimes turns down very short, sheer or fitted styles. If that happens, try another look or another photo.
- Front views only
- Looks that show the back of a dress can't be tried on; choose a photo of the front.
- Buying the dress
- Jovani dresses are sold through boutiques. Each dress page shows the stores that carry it, or find a store near you.
