With a vision of creating a glamorous world of designer dresses, Jacob Maslavi founded the now world-renowned brand Jovani Fashions in 1983. Making his dream a reality, his sons, Saul and Abraham have continued their father’s vision by expanding their brand of evening wear to fit every aspect of a woman’s life. The unique styles and creative twists on the classics that Jovani is known for have made it a go-to designer for special occasions around the world.

Jovani Fashions is based in the heart of New York City’s garment district; it is a dress manufacturer and wholesaler that produces its own designs, advertising and marketing. It is best known for making fashion-forward and classic designs that women and girls all over the world admire. With the growth of the eveningwear market, Jovani has also continued to grow their collection beyond just evening dresses, and now has a variety of collections that range from ready-to-wear, social, mother of the bride, cocktail, pageant and bridal. It started off as a small 10-person business and has grown to over 50 employees. As a family owned company, Jovani has continued to run as such, although their customer base and demand has grown exponentially with retail sales of over $125 million per year, making it a major player within the evening apparel market. The officers include President, Chairman and CEO, Saul Maslavi and Vice President, Director and CFO, Abraham Maslavi.
