Always putting her own individual twist on the best fashion trends, Kasia has accumulated an impressive fashion knowledge and is now an expert on all things sartorial. We ask the blogging fashionista about her style, her upcoming prom and the trends she’s most looking forward to wearing in 2017.
JOVANI: Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a fashion blogger? How did you start, and how did you get to where you are now?
KASIA: Oh, it has been so long ago! I set up my blog when I was 12, and now I’ve been creating it for 6 years. I felt very inspired by the girls on their own fashion blogs and I knew I want to be like them. Of course I had a lot of ups and downs but the most important thing is that I never gave up. That’s why I was able to go to Berlin Fashion Week, which I’m really grateful about.
JOVANI: Describe your typical day / a typical day in the life of a blogger.
KASIA: School is a time-consuming activity which contains most time of my typical week. I’m blogging at the weekends. Waking up early morning, eating breakfast and going to fitness is my Saturday routine. Then I’m freshening up and getting ready for a photoshoot. I usually take pictures in various corners of the city. Afterwards it’s time for editing and writing posts. I’m not a professional, but I do my best to make that all come together. In the evenings I respond to e-mails and plan upcoming posts.
JOVANI: What is your favorite part about being a fashion blogger?
KASIA: My favourite part of being blogger is definitely meeting new people in person, but also online. It’s really nice to keep in touch with someone who has the same passion as you do.
JOVANI: What is your least favorite part of being a fashion blogger?
KASIA: Being a blogger for me has absolutely no disadvantages! Ok, maybe taking photos when it’s freezing.
JOVANI: Looking back at 2016, what were some of your favorite looks and trends?
: 2016 was definitely the year of laced up
tops which I personally loved. Looking back, my favorite outfit of 2016 was the one with white pants and off-the-shoulder top. It brings me back to summer!
What do you predict will be some of the biggest fashion trends
Obviously jeans are always on-trend, pastels. We gonna be still on a hunt for lace up, off-the-shoulder
, velour and chokers.
JOVANI: We hear you have prom coming up this year. How is prom celebrated differently in Europe than in the US? What are you most excited about for your prom this year?
Here, in Poland we used to celebrate prom differently than in the USA. The prom is something that we are waiting for throughout our whole time as students. At first, we all dance standard polonaise and afterwards there are speeches and wishes – the most incredible fun. And that is all we do all night long! Unforgettable moments guaranteed! I can not wait to share my new stunning dress
JOVANI: Where do you like to find your daily fashion inspirations?
KASIA: My favorite place to get some inspirations is pinterest.
JOVANI: Do you have any favorite labels or design icons you follow?
There will be no surprise if I say that I absolutely adore Valentino heels
. Clothing-wise, Miu Miu for beautiful dresses and Tommy Hilfiger. Besides that, my are favourite high street stores are Zara or H&M, where you can get cool design for a reasonable price.
JOVANI: What is the best advice you can give to girls who love style and want to dress their best?
KASIA: There are no rules in fashion! You have to be self-confident with in what you wear and express your personality by the way you look.
